She was allowed to be?. She actually hadn't expected that, she didn't think she had the right to be a pessimist with everything else she had done, But then she really had to learn not to try and predict Castiel. It was a foolish exercise at the best of times and lately he'd just kept suprising her in the most wonderful ways. Its why she didn't give up like he said people would have. She didn't give up in spite of every reason she had to give up. And that was his doing.
Eventually it would be worth it. And as much as Ruby prefered having things her way in the here and now she had to find a way to accept that she couldn't. That people would always hate her, that nothing would ever be like it had been, and a lot of times it grated at her though it had no right to. But that was okay. That was normal. Thats what he'd told her.
She didn't even notice as he transported them, so lost in the kiss and the thoughts that had gone along with it, when they got there she pulled back a little looking around, it wasn't dissimilar to what she suspected was next door and the thought, the memories of what they'd done here elicited a slight excited whimper of pleasure at the thought that they could make more memories right here and now.
