She glanced back and forth between the two of them. People didn't speak to her that way, and she'd never met anyone so legitimately concerned. She could say it was all a lie. But Clary couldn't argue with mind powers to lift cars, or a drawing that was so clearly done by her. She was always so careful with her work.
Now she just wanted it to be true. This time she didn't move back when Cathy reached out, but went back to gazing at the two forms of art. After a moment, she nodded.
