These people kept talking like her life was something that was out of a movie. They couldn't separate reality from fantasy. The sort of thing were people came along and took you away to a better life was only movies. Just because her dad directed them for a living, didn't mean she thought she was part of one.
She was starting to get annoyed. Doubts about what? What was she supposed to do? Be able to fly? Jump really high? She didn't have any abilties. She was a regular person, that was it. This was like a bad X-Men movie, in the scene where X and Magneto went to talk to Jean.
And speaking of that scene. What little color she had naturally in her face seemed to drain away she she looked over to the cars, her eyes went wide. That didn't happen without special affects. And she knew there were no special affects. The cars were twice as high as where she stood, this wasn't supposed to happen.
She took just a half a step back, looking over to Jacen. "That-" she said, not looking back at the cars. "Shouldn't be possible. There's nothing special about me. If there was I wouldn't look like someones punching bag." she said flatly. This was a load of crap.
