Who: Eve & NPC Wolfram and Hart Employees What: Eve's pissed, lawyers should run for their lives When: The day after she breaks through the spell Where: Wolfram & Hart Rating: R, Violence, Death Status: Complete Note: This is with Mod permission! If you have any characters that work in the bulidng feel free to say they escaped or they weren't there when it happened. Eve is making a point of avoiding hurting anyone whos actually team good guy. The attack is contained to one section of one floor, but it's going to be brutal.
After spending most of the night deciding just what she was going to do, Eve knew she simply couldn't 'let this one go.' She was pretty sure she had drove a woman crazy, and lead to the deaths of multiple people. This wasn't anything new in her life, she'd done worse, but she was out of that business now, and they had no right to bring her back into it. They had no right to make her forget people like Ben, and like Kristof. They had no right to make her forget her daughter.
They had no right to tear apart families, to do what they had done to all the people in the city. And the Claires? They had to pay for that. For taking Cathy's husbands, for taking AIs leaders. Let them all burn.
They had to know this would end. They couldn't be that stupid, could they? To think they'd get away with this. They'd never get away with this.
She knew there were people inside of the office that were actually team good guy, so she'd have to make a point of avoiding them. The Claires could regenerate but that was besides the point. Nathan was there as well, she didn't want to hurt him either, same with Lindsey.
But the rest of them could burn in hell for all she cared.
It was early morning when she came into work like she 'always' did. She'd planted that same smug smile on her face that said 'yes, I am better than you' to most of the employees. She chatted with a few of them, and continued on her way like always.
She made one quick stop to her office. Once there, she took into her possession some of the more extreme spells she landed, and a few things she was actually fond off. When that was done, she walked out into the the hallway.
After a short while of standing there, people began to stop, and stare. She was one of the 'higher ups' on this floor, and it looked like she had something to say. Her Dark eyes were downcast, almost as if they were trying to burn a whole into the floor. Her face was hard. When it was quite, and she was sure no one was moving, she looked up again. Her voice was cold, void of emotion.
"God has numbered the days of your kingdom and brought it to an end; you have been weighed on the scales and found wanting." most of them had to know what she was, because she saw the measure of fear in their eyes when it sunk in, and it satisfied her. Before anyone could start running, her hand was raised, and in a flash of blinding light the sword of judgement was in her hand. In the other, spells began to fly.
She could tell from her mind which employees were evil, and which were here because they were scared, they had no choice, etc. That didn't make it okay, but it was enough for her to spare them. Knock back spells went flying, sending some people crashing into the walls, breaking some bones. Counter spells went out to block any attacks. She only had a short time before she became outnumbered and couldn't do anymore damage. One man attacked, very brave, or very stupid. She flicked her finger at him, and he went down, and she heard the bone in his shoulder break where the spell it.
Fire erupted in her hands, and she caused it to spread. Soon the section was being devoured in flames- which she was sure they'd put out soon even if she was holding off the sprinklers. Another man, who Eve knew to be about as kind as any violent demon, came at her, a spell coming from his lips. "Idiot." she told him, and then he was on fire. She didn't even care, she turned away.
Then the sword began to fly. Her targets were the most vicious- the most violent of the workers that were near her. She'd take their souls, and deliver them to hell herself if she could get her hands on them. When the blade passed through their bodies- leaving the shell unmarked- they dropped. Dead, gone, lifeless bodies.
Anyone who wasn't truly evil, she let get away. She scared the hell out of them- or more correctly put the fear of God into them, but she let them live, let them run. Maybe they'd learn a lesson.
The heat that was gathering in the room didn't bother her, and soon most people were either down and out, or crawling away. Her knock back spells were powerful, they could shatter bones. They were lucky she hadn't done anything else.
Then she sensed them coming. Turning, Eve looked to the door as those with strong magic approached. They'd probably be able to extinguish her flames, and if they worked hard enough, kick the Angel out, even if they couldn't kill her. She waited, until they were coming in. With one last attack, she sent a fireball in their direction, causing a minor explosion at the door.
