Ben hadn't registered it, so focused on the sky, but the embrace was familiar enough that the instinctive urge to fight back was stopped by the need to cling to someone familiar and sane and with enough power to blow down that whole crazy house if it came to it. That would be kind of awesome. It was that thought, as well as the certainty that everything was okay now, since Cas was here and they'd go home and that would be the end, that made the world seem less off kilter once more.
"I called the chick that kidnapped me a bitch and she slapped me," he said dismissively, moving on to those things he felt more important than his cheek.
"Cas, these people are so CRAZY, they kept saying I was their kid and I told them EVERYTHING and they thought I was making it up! They thought I was watching too much TV! There was Elmo and Barney and I'm wearing CARTOON TRAINS," he gestured emphatically to his clothing, the pajamas now a bit worse for the wear from underbrush snags. "and I had to run through a fucking FOREST."
He fixed his gaze firmly on the angel, expression serious though still outraged. "I didn't do it this time. I SWEAR."
