Tara didn't refute his comment about being a protector. There would be no point in going into it, because she didn't know Liam and there were chances that he was being honest and not modest. From what she'd seen so far he was much more of the first than the second. Which was fine. Though she wouldn't have been surprised if Liam had a bit of Angel in him with being a protector. Only time would tell. Or not. Tara really hoped that this-whatever was going on-didn't last long. "No," Tara smiled slightly. The word was vaguely familiar. Recalling it being mentioned in a class. She was quite certain that it was some form of alcohol. She likely wouldn't take much of it, as curious as she was about it, since she needed to keep an eye on him.
