Darla waited until the dust had proverbial - and literally - settled before making her presence known. She had been observing the fighting from her perch a few stories above the streets, on an extended ledge with just enough of a ledge on the floor above to keep the rain at bay for the most part. Not that Darla minded the rain, necessarily, but it did make looking as lovely as she did a difficult task sometimes.
When the unknown man moved on to the dancing portion of his musical number, the vampire decided she'd had enough. Slowly, she began clapping and rose to her feet. Stepping neatly off the ledge she fell neatly through the sky and landed ten feet or so in front of Wade.
"That," she admitted, "was impressive. Especially the part where you threw the stake. I know Slayers who would be jealous of such a move." Slowly, she smiled. "A pity you won't live long enough to teach it to any of them."
