"Sanity is relative," Castiel commented dryly. "I just want you to be careful. Like you said, you're not used to working without a plan and you could end up getting in over your head and not know what to do, how to react. You could get really hurt and I don't want that for you."
He watched her a moment, inwardly cursing his brother for what felt like the millionth time. The damage he had caused, everything he touched tainted and broken. And yet Castiel knew that the pain would never end, more would always be caused by the Morning Star.
"Thank you," he half shrugged. "He is just hard to deal with sometimes."
