"It's not just me she's afraid of. She's got a reason to be afraid of most of us." she pointed out, then with a cheeky smirk she added "Except you. Blondie bear." since apparently the vampire should have left with the impression that Spike was on her side. Apparently their fake fight had been convincing enough. She almost wanted to know how that conversation went. Buffy knew Harmony was afraid, but half the time she did wonder if she thought her crack security team would be enough to keep her safe. Did she think Harmony was naive? Yes. She just didn't know how naive.
"I'm just not sure they can handle her." she added, finally sinking down into a stool, crossing one leg over the other. "For all we knew she unknowingly has Twilight's protection. In which case, I don't want them getting killed trying to get rid of her." she wasn't even totally sure their own plan would have completely worked if Twilight was helping Harmony, even if Harmony didn't know it. "There are plenty of other bad guys for Faith, Sarah and Nathan to sink their stakes into and tell people what to do. I'm not in charge here. I can't sink my stake into anyone I want without someone assuming I'm undermining the authority at AI." Or at least that was how she still saw it. It would probably stay that way for a while too.
"Hate to break it to you, but you pretty much are a goody-goody now. It's your own fault for helping to save the world." she added with a shrug, "But in your favor, we always kick everyones ass, so that has to mean something."
