"Mostly," Vi agreed and then her shoulders rose in a slight shrug, "and that little part with you and Wolfram and Hart but I'm guessing since you're here and someone else is there that it didn't work out?" It came out as more of a ramble than she expected, which she hadn't done in a while, but it was a weird thing to ask.
There was also the whole Scourge of Europe thing but that had been before the soul, so that wasn't nearly as important as the CEO thing. Spike had been hanging around them too so it looked like things had turned out all right. "I think Andrew might've exaggerated a few things."
He was taller than she'd thought he'd be, but just as dark. She could definitely see him being the broody type. "Thanks. I know my part of New York like the back of my hand but I guess the Powers That Be wanted us here." She kept an eye on their surroundings, arms crossing lightly over her stomach so that she could quickly reach for her stake at any time. "It's really neat, the people that they've chosen. Not for them, I guess, because they can't go home, but there seems to be a very ecclectic group in the Hyperion. I mean that in a nice way."
