"Keep it up." He tucked the paper in his pocket and hesitated outside the door. Focused on getting to the mystic, he'd forgotten that the man was in a bar. "I like the second option. This guy will probably be desperate enough to throw anything at us that he can to escape." A few years ago, that would've posed a problem for him. Now he was confident that he had enough training to take him.
"Anything is worth a try." Her magic, different as it might have been from this world's, had worked for them so far. Any added protections was just fine by him. Lindsey started to head down the stairs when another thought hit and he jogged back up to the room.
"If you could find some rope or duct tape, that'd be helpful." It had never occured to him to bring one or the other from the Center. Once they got him tied down, he could probably find whatever else he needed in the kitchen or the basement. Neccessity was the mother of invention. "I'll be back." With that said, he finally left.
