Most of the guy's things were still laying around. No packed suitcases, messed up drawers, any indication that he had suddenly taken off. Maybe he had just run to the store for a few things. Didn't matter. Wherever he went, he was needed and tracking him down was first priority.
The last room yielding nothing, Lindsey backtracked to where he had heard Clary's voice come from, leaving the broom farther down the hallway now that it was unneccessary. He entered the room, glancing from the brush to her, nodding in approval.
"Please do," he replied, leaning against the dresser and crossing his arms. "Then I'll go and drag his ass back here." He had a few tricks up his sleeves and if he accidently hurt the guy, too bad. As long as he could talk, they could take him in any condition.
