Planting herself at the door, she staid there while Lindsey went into the house. During the short time he was gone she looked around the darkened living room with mild interest. Some books were starting to draw her attention when she heard Lindsey come back, and she stopped herself from exploring.
He wasn't here, though that wasn't surprising. It did make sense for him to not stick around for a while. "No, he couldn't have." she agreed, following him up the stairs into the upper level of the house. And maybe with any luck, anything protecting him, or anything he might be shielding himself with wouldn't be that strong. Maybe he just wasn't shielding himself.
Clary walked past the rooms, just glancing into each of them until she walked past a bedroom. It looked like the master bedroom, based on the clothes that were left on the floor. Back stepping, she entered the room, and looked around carefully.
If she could only find the right bit of material.
Her eyes fell onto the dresser. On it, there was a hair brush. Smiling, she picked up the brush and held it infront of her. There were definitely hairs. "If he's not to guarded, I can track him." she said, raising her voice so Lindsey could hear here in whatever room he was looking at. Plucking a hair from the brush, she held it out infront of her. All it took was a bit of his hair to make a tracking rune possible.
