Since Angel had agreed to it, Spike had decided to take up a room within the Hyperion. It wasn't because he wanted to be closer to Angel and his little groupies either. It was really only because Dawn was there, and then there were a few other people that Spike found bearable that he could get on with as well. So staying there seemed like a pretty good idea. Plus, he was now completely in the loop. If something went down, he'd be among the few to find out first. Hopefully. Spike got the feeling that he'd have to sneak around a bit to get Angel to actually let him in on anything unless he absolutely needed his help.
So now he had a room. The only thing left to do was wander about and get to know the place. He was hoping to find a bar or a really nice pool room. Something along those lines. Instead, Spike found himself standing in the lobby again. Well, who said it wasn't easy to get lost in a place that one didn't know? Spike sure hadn't. Sighing, he reached into his pocket for a light and started for the front desk. Maybe Cordelia or someone would be up for a bit of fun. Or a shag. Whatever they wanted, really. He got about a quarter way across the room before he bothered looking at the people that had wandered in. Normally he would have ignored them, but it wasn't until now that he noticed that they'd never really interacted much before. Plus, he didn't know their scents at all. What were they doing there? Tilting his head to the side, Spike placed his cigarette between his lips, leaned against the front counter, and set the tip on fire. He took a drag before he even bothered to say a thing to any of them. "You looking for a room here or is this a stick up?"
