"If you wanted to be able to trust me again, you wouldn't have locked me in here like I was the enemy." Xander didn't like how quickly she managed her way into the cage. He knew he could take her if he worked it the smart way, Xander just needed to wait for his moment. Rather pointedly, he retreated to the far wall, not wanting to be physically close to the woman who was not the Anya he remembered. She didn't even look like her.
"What do you wanna talk about? What is there to say? I betrayed you. I turned the good guys in, I tried to save the people who could make a real difference in the fight that's to come. Now that I'm here, waiting for the entire city to blow up in our faces, what is there to say, Anya? What do you want for me to say, hmm?"
