Who: Tori and Jack
What: a break!
When:October 19th, the afternoon.
Where: The beach then probably her apartment
Warnings: should be low.
Daytime. He was going out in the daytime. Jack almost couldn't remember the last time he went out in the afternoon before the sunset. He supposed it was kind of necessary for learning how to surf. He wasn't even that great at swimming, he had only been to the beach once. Hey it wasn't his fault he lived in the middle of the city. He had a red tank top and pair of black and red lined board shorts on. But he still couldn't believe he was doing this. Mostly he couldn't believe that he'd let her talk him into doing this. It was a good thing. Getting out of that apartment sometimes. Sky had been acting like he had a stick up his ass and Jack had done nothing to deserve it this time. So he was giving himself a time out before he said something he'd regret. Not in the traditional time out sense, but he wasn't a very traditional ranger to begin with so he was lucky that way.
Still grumpy over the last thing Sky had done, he waited at the beach for the wind ranger. Arms all folded and looking more like he was standing at attention than relaxing and soaking in the Los Angeles sun. He kicked at a small pile of sand and winced as it came back at him. Great. Even the sand wanted to fight. It was probably a good thing that Jack didn't have his blasters on him or there might have been a very amusing scene of Jack Vs. Sand Pile for Tori to witness. He had his morpher, but nothing else weapon wise. He was determined to have a day off. His morpher was his security blanket. He went nowhere without it. The amount of panic he'd had when he thought he lost it in the alley after the scourge was almost unbearable. Leaving it at home was a non-option. Military regulations and all. He wasn't very military about anything, except his morpher. Sky could attest..his apartment wasn't cleanly. His room was definitely not up to standard. But his morpher was something he never left home without. Even to the beach.
He'd been wanting to see Tori for a while. Now that everyone was home and safe it was the perfect opportunity. He had no more excuses.
