Sam didn't appear to be so confident about that statement, but he nodded in agreement nonetheless. "We'll work on it," he informed Michael. "I'll admit that I'm not handling this as well as I'd like to, but I promise I'm gonna be here if you need me." He looked to Faith, more than sure that she held that same particular mindset as him, at the very least. "We'll both be here for you. We are here for you." Their son. Their son. Together. Something that he and Faith had created. With that thought in mind, Sam didn't know who to be more wary of - the possible child that was waiting for them in the future or the woman he was holding hands with. He didn't want to knock her up. How would she slay if she was pregnant? How would she live? How would HE live?
"I know." Michael did. He knew his parents too well. Dad would be weird, Mom would be weird. They'd be pretty weird together. But they'd get through it. It was looking a lot better than his own time did, which was something that he was both grateful for and nervous about at the same time. He had to get back, for the sake of his family. If only this time traveling business could have happened when there wasn't a psychotic demon running around terrorizing everyone. What was up with that? "I'm not too happy 'bout all this weirdness, but it's okay. I get it, I promise." A lot of weird things happened in their lives. This was just another day. In another time.
"Just work with us here," Sam continued, "if you do that, we'll all be fine. Don't run off, don't do anything crazy, stick to the house unless you're with an adult, and we'll take care of the rest."
