Go, go Power Rangers!
WHO: Adam Park and Kira Ford [OPEN to others should someone want to join].
WHAT: Another Ranger arrives during meditation.
WHEN: Early morning, like 8amish.
WHERE: Angel Grove to LA.
RATING: PG-13?
STATUS: In progress...
It was just another day at the dojo. Adam had arrived an hour before they opened to meditate, placing himself in the proper place and spirit for the day's work. He only had two students coming in today, but one was enough to count for two. Or three. He had been exceptionally difficult as of late, refusing to follow orders or practice or fight fairly. Adam had been forced to remove the kid from his class and focus on him one-on-one, hoping to turn the kid around. But it was a long and difficult road. Alpha 6 tried to help anyway he could, keeping the place clean and Adam's spirits up, but some days, it was just overwhelming.
Dressed in black yoga pants and an open black vest, the Ranger warmed up with a few Yoga postures, the Tree, Half-Moon, Shooting Bow, before settling into a comforting Lotus posture to meditate in. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths, clearing his mind and thinking only of breathing in through his nose and out from his mouth.
It was the noise that jolted him first, for the change in lightening could be waved off as entering deep meditation and the change in temperature from sitting so still for so long. But when the serene silence of the dojo changed into the chaos of LA, Adam was blinking rapidly and beyond confused. He was no longer sitting in his dojo, but was now in a park. And it was dark, despite the time of day. Had he somehow teleported without having his morpher? Zordon had been dead for a while, so it was unlikely the man had brought him here, and yet he had no explaination for this. He had never entered a state of mediation that was this real.
Adam pushed himself up and turned in spot, looking around himself; judging from the skyline, he determined he was in Los Angeles, which wasn't too far from Angel Grove. Shaking his head, Adam headed towards the streets to hail a taxi and go back home, trying to blame his new surroundings on the whole meditating thing. Maybe he'd been so calm that he was unaware of walking to LA? It sounded crazy before he even finished thinking it.
