After taking a third sip, Fred motioned for Trish to follow her. "It's all right. Take your time. I'd rather you adjust to them this way then finding out they exist by running into them out on the street." It was a crash course. Maybe not as bad as being dropped in the middle of Pylea where humans were demon slaves but it wasn't good. Luckily the newcomers had been able to find somewhere safe before they were eaten.
"It very well could! And we do a lot of researching so that'll really speed you along," she joked. "It is a lot to get used to but with the stuff that goes on around here, we'll make a believer out of you yet."
