"Oh.. alright, Lindsey," Damien said, correcting himself. He thought it good that he had run into someone that he neither needed to fear physically, or worry about confrontation. Or about an online backlash after confrontation. Granted, they weren't quite on exactly the same side as when they had met before, however brief that was. He had no doubt that this man was capable in any firm. Damien understood that when someone had to do something (like leave an evil law firm behind), then you just had to do it, no matter the outcome.
He nodded in reply, sensing that the smile was perhaps born of whatever frustration had occurred during the day. "We've all had our share of those.. though I have a feeling it's worse than mine or others at the moment. Work related?" He paused. "Oh.. sorry, I probably sound like I'm prying. But I can say that on my bad days, I won't be tempted to follow the crowd and go emo on the boards, as is the popular method these days. I've unplugged the computer a few times already in the past."
