"There's only been a singular 'Buffy' since I've been here," Cordy contributed, but the nod signified that she understood what he meant. "That's gotta be a tremendous pain in the ass, right? Get to know someone, only to have them replaced with some version of themselves that has no idea who you are?"
She looked a little contrite, grimacing. "Then again, I guess that's me, for the people that knew...the other-me. There was one here before. Guess she was close to some people I have no memories of."
Eliot's assessment of the situation made her snort. "Depends on if ya catch 'em on a good day." After living a couple months in this version of L.A., she wasn't so sure.
