"Home school her," Cordelia repeated flatly, her tone indicating what she thought of that particular idea. Sighing softly, she picked some cheese off her pizza and popped it into her mouth, chewing thoughtfully. Swallowing, a bright smile adorned her face as she exclaimed, "Sure! That's the perfect way to make sure she never makes any friends, and lives the rest of her life alone, and miserable, and brooding, just like her big brother."
With a shake of her head she met Angel's gaze with a pointed look. "I think not," she stated firmly. "Kathy needs to learn how to be a child, Angel. Then a teenager and, ultimately, an adult. She can't learn that if she's spending all of her time completely isolated from the rest of the world."
Not that they had many options, if public and home schooling were both out. Private would want even more information than public, and there simply wasn't another choice. She had to be educated.
"Private tutors?" she asked, lips curling slightly in a grin to show she was more joking. With a sigh and shrug of her shoulders, Cordelia admitted, "I'm stumped. But I know she needs something. Sitting around here all the time can't be healthy."
