She was constantly bring up the fact that he'd sided with Azula when forced to choose between his sister and the waterbender. But, he'd been so confused back then. His head was clear now and he no longer had delusions of earning back his father's love.
Especially when he never really had it in the first place. Not that it mattered anymore.
"Well," he rubbed a hand nervously at the back of his neck, "yeah. That is if you do, which you do, so I guess I do--I mean, yes. Yes. Yes, I like you."
Zuko felt his face get hot, heating up with an energy that almost felt like he was using his bending to make his skin warm. Almost.
