Katara smiled and shook her head slightly. "This is where I end up hurting myself," she admitted with a soft sigh before adding, "And yes, Sokka can use a sword. He's actually not too bad, either." Her eyes shone a bit. "Of course, you'll never get me to admit that to him. He'd never let me live it down." With an affectionate roll of her eyes, the waterbender glanced down at the dao Zuko held.
"I meant what I said," she stated, looking back to him. "This is probably where I'm going to end up getting hurt." Yet there was a determination in her tone too as she added, "But don't let that stop you from explaining how to properly, uh, duel someone."
She smiled easily once more, marveling silently for a moment at how easy it was to actually smile, and mean it, around Zuko now. It wasn't always that way and a part of her worried something would happen to cause this apparent peace between them to evaporate. But while it was lasting, Katara was really enjoying it.
