Zuko hated when she looked at him directly like that. Not because it made him feel uneasy, but because it was far too easy to get lost in the deep blue that was her eyes. And for a moment, as their gazes locked, he was simply transfixed by the color--so different from the eyes he was used to seeing at home; brown, bronze, yellow, and gold. Blue was a color that was rare outside of water and the sky in the Fire Nation. And it was a color he was finding himself becoming quite fond of. If only because the color was associated with her.
Snapping out of it with a few blinks, Zuko asked, "Your brother can use a sword? I thought all he knew how to wield was that boomerang thing."
He was tempted to mimic one of Sokka's 'yay, boomerang!' moments, but held back. No, that would be far too out of character for him.
"Next? Uh..." Zuko tentatively brought up his own blade. "...deflection of another weapon? I mean, sword-to-sword combat--dueling. I mean dueling."
