Katara listened closely to what he said. Or, at least, as closely as she could listen when he was standing so near and touching her in such a way that a slight flush began to creep up her neck and spill across her cheeks. Clearing her throat, she re-focused on the lesson. Fluid. She could manage fluid.
Down and to the left. She mimicked the movements just like she'd done when she'd been learning waterbending. She tried not to think about the blade she held, or the fact that dropping it could cost her a toe, and instead concentrated on doing exactly what Zuko wanted her to do. It felt, she had to admit once she was finished, far more natural doing it his way.
"How was that?" she asked, peering back up at him and pausing in her movements. A few strands of hair fell into her eyes and she blew them out of the way before looking back to Zuko, waiting for his next instructions and trying not to think about the fact that he was standing close enough that she could feel his breath against her skin.
