Mitchell blinked slightly. He was expecting shock at the possible time travel, maybe denial at the transportation, but the idea of heaven or hell or tests, that was new to him.
"Okay, breathe alright? Please?" He was just one of the workers at the hospital, he didn't even know how to handle someone in the middle of a full blown panic attack.
"This isn't a test, and it's not heaven or hell or anything like that, it's just Los Angeles." Which may have been hell, the jury was still out on that.
"And you're not dead." That he could say for certain. He could hear her heart thumping in her chest. Carefully, he took her hand and eased the ring off her finger, hoping it would help since it seemed the sight of it was what freaked her out. He held it out though, hoping she wouldn't then slap him for trying to steal it.
"So, please, with the breathing and everything?" He smiled slightly, trying for good, old fashioned, Irish charm.
