Damien suddenly felt warm, briefly, as he walked outside with the younger man. His leg hurt like nails. Every single step was painful for him. He also felt as though he wasn't bleeding as much. But as the antichrist walked with him, he couldn't help but feel like he was watched, like someone was staring intently at him.
He glanced up, looking at a tree. Something... but no. He couldn't see. Not that he could, anyway. The leaves and such blocked his view. He immediately turned his head and gazed up at the clouds. But that was confusing as well. He felt that he knew something up there was staring. But he didn't see anything from this vantage point. Maybe it was a satellite or some shit.
The man nodded slowly, resting up against the wall. He blinked a few times, holding his face so he could not pass out. "Alright.. but hurry. Hopefully, they can get here soon." He sighed, not believing this actually happened. To him of all people. And he waited as Virgil made the call, glancing back at the suspicious tree once more.
