Faith offered a tired, if genuine smile. "For as long as I'm here, Angel's never gonna be completely forgotten. He was the first of us here, it will be remembered, even if I have to tell everyone that myself." And it was true that he was still her hero, her Champion. Even the time she'd spent in the other dimension, with Angelus, didn't change that. Never would. "Twilight?" She frowned and shook her head. "Doesn't ring a bell."
She sighed and nodded, she'd heard it all, thanks to Harmony's show. Slayers were killers. Which, okay, true in her case. But as a general rule, totally unfair. "I think we make decisions that no one else could ever make. I think they should try walking a mile in our shoes, see how they like it," she stood, pacing as the agitation grew. "I think they should try having Slayer dreams, dreaming of the deaths of the old Slayers, or of future Apocalypses. I think they should try living knowing that it'll be a freaking miracle if they reach 30. And I think..." she trailed off as she realized she was almost shouting and she gently punched the wall, a meaningless gesture. "I think they have no idea what it's like to be a Slayer. Or a leader. Feeling the weight of the world, several worlds even, on their shoulders."
Wasn't their fault really. No one could understand it until they'd lived it. They'd see it as forcing innocents to talk, Faith saw it as doing something awful to try to save more people.
Tired again, she sat down once more, picking the coffee mug up again and feeling the warmth around her fingers.
"They do. Well, Jacen does especially. Kinda depends though, do these half breeds have psychic skills, will they try to resist the trick, because that hurts," she shrugged. "And it's Jacen Solo. As in the son of Han and Leia, as in the grandson of Darth Vader. Jacen Solo, formerly known as Darth Caedus." She looked up at Buffy, wondering how well she knew her Star Wars. "He's a redeemed former Sith and I can't ask him to use the dark powers that made him become an insane lunatic. He'd do it, if I asked, but it would mean risking him liking his old skills a bit too much again."
