There were many things Claire loved about Dean, and that included all the ways he laughed, from low, rich laughter when he felt particularly smug to near-breathless fits of giggles while being tickled, but listening to him chuckle and then giggle was freaking her the hell out. And that was even before he coughed up the blood left inside as his body healed.
At least he wasn't coughing up bullets. From personal experience, she could say that was a very weird sensation. And he was healing, she could see that, especially because he was clearly feeling better enough to once again be... well, Dean.
"No, you ass, you're not going anywhere." Though worded fiercely and accompanied with a growl, Claire's actions were gentle as she pulled him against her, wrapping one arm lightly around him. Only once he was restrained carefully did she look around in what light there was from the open door, the shadows playing over half-visible limbs. They were all dead. They were dead and until Dean had spoken and reminded her, she hadn't even thought about them, those demon families, woman and children likely innocent of anything.
She didn't want to let go of Dean. She wanted to hold him and be sure he would be fine, but there were people here she still had a chance of helping, a way to undo the terrible wrong that had been committed tonight. Castiel had promised her he would be fine and she believed him, first and foremost, because he was their friend.
"We have to bring them back," she finally said, then eased Dean back against the wall and spoke to him. "Dean Winchester, you stay put, or so help me, I will glue your ass to the floor."
Sure, she didn't have any glue handy, but she'd find a way. With Dean again supported and Castiel finishing with his healing, Claire twisted to get to her feet and go revive the closest of the dead, fully intent on doing what she had just been so recently stopped from doing, but paused briefly as her gaze fell on Ruby.
"Did they hurt you?" she asked, tone even. Ruby could usually heal that body of most things, but that didn't preclude her from being hurt as a demon or having difficulty healing quickly. She didn't even known why she was asking, other than Ruby had stayed, had helped, and hadn't left.
