"Oh well give me time," she replied, "I may start appreciating you in other ways, but for now no sleeping's a good way to start, right?" She paused for a moment wondering if that sounded as flirty out loud as she suddenly realised it did in her head. Still it was too late now, wasn't it? "So can you really not sleep?" she asked, deciding to try and ignore all of that potential awkwardness. "Or is this a vampire thing? Only Mitchell sleeps, so...I wasn't sure since apparently Mitch isn't like the vampires from here, so I figured maybe you weren't either?" She smiled faintly at his reply about the message boards. "Well you seem to be in a better mood now," she admitted. "And I should probably apologise. It's just...Mitch. I'm sort of overly protective of him I guess. Since he's pretty much my best friend and the main reason I'm even here."
Annie frowned at his admission, despite the fact it really shouldn't have been a surprise. "Really? That must be annoying? You could walk around in here during the day though, right? Do we have that special glass? I'm sure I heard someone say something about that. Not that I'm complaining obviously, because like I said it gets boring being awake all the time after a while. Oh and yeah, I mean us night time people should stick together, right? Of course I'm more an all the time person, but unless Gilbert suddenly shows up I'm guessing I'm the only one of those so...um yeah!"
