Morgan just sat there, mentally trying to convince herself that there wasn't a point to arguing with him anymore. Unfortunately...it wasn't really working that well. She ignored the girl as she came to take away the empty teacup. Hers remained untouched. She might have had some if she wasn't so busy not getting along with the king of stubbornness. As the girl walked away and Hunter spoke to her again, her jaw clenched the slightest bit. She was trying not to snap back and it was hard. "Well," she said, most of the edge gone from her words, "it's good to hear that you don't think I'm stupid. Because sometimes when you talk to me it really seems like you do." She was calming down now, enough to have a more rational conversation. She knew that in the past she hadn't been kind to him at all, but it wasn't entirely her fault. What girl in the entire world would listen to someone who said the guy she loves was evil? None. And Morgan was no exception. She'd been blinded by her feelings. Hunter had to have understood that. If not...well that could be something she would explain to him later.
He couldn't overpower her if she took him by surprise. Maybe when he was asleep...wait, no. She was trying to stop the bad thoughts towards him. Not have more. She looked at him in silence, noting the now serious look on his face. Unreadable. Sometimes it made her wonder why he did that.
"I don't know. Something that's fun?" Because talking about politics and other stuff like that really didn't sound that fun. She also didn't feel like hurting him anymore, for now. Given their stubborn natures, the urge might come back sometime in the near future. She could tell he was kidding when he said what he said next. "I don't think my mind is gone. Even if it was, the Coke helps me bring it back," Morgan said matter-of-factly, but in a joking sort of way. "Hey, the way I figure it, it's just fine. I'm not dying or anything, so it can't be that bad." The way the girl who was bringing his tea looked at him also made her want to laugh, but she didn't. Was he oblivious to girls, or was it something else entirely?
