He didn't know a lot about it, really. Everything he knew, everything he had been taught, as far as he knew in this place could mean absolutely nothing. He could come up with fifty different ideas for what they should do but it didn't mean they would work. He nodded, regardless. "I'm going to have to give you lessons. I know you probably don't want a lot to do with me, but you need them. I can't teach you much with the sun gone but at least you'll be in more control." Hunter had a way of sounding belittling even when he wasn't trying to be. Maybe it was because the both of them were so stubborn and so sure that they were bigger than each other in what ever way.
It was probably an offer he would most likely regret in the near future, offering to have her stay with him. There were fights and disagreements just waiting to happen. Then there was the issue of having to buy diet Coke and stock the fridge with it. He shuddered inwardly at the thought. He gave her a slightly exasperated look. "I have no doubt you can look after yourself. In some situations, anyway." Hunter lowered his voice slightly. "There are bad witches here, too. Ones that are misusing their powers probably as we speak. If any one of them find out about the power you have, it'll be a bloody Selene Belltower moment all over again. Do you want that?" He nodded, pleased with himself when she started to cave.
Hunter made a disgruntled face as she grabbed the Coke. How anyone could drink anything remotely like that, he didn't know. He smiled, regardless. "So you think all of us English blokes get together, drink some tea and talk like that? Interesting.." he said, and pretended to note it mentally as if he were planning something. He nearly winced when she took a long sip of the horrible beverage.
