Hunter nodded in agreement. "It is possible that it isn't a witch that has done this but then, it doesn't leave us with many options, does it? To call on such power -- To block out the sun.. You would have to know someone quite very powerful." It was so frustrating that he didn't even have a lead. He didn't know this place, the Council couldn't help him and he was at a loss for what to do. Without his magick, he was just a teenage boy looking for a fight. One that he wouldn't win.
The dark wave was never pleasant, no matter how much you broke it down and tried to make it sound like it wasn't a big deal. The two witches couldn't ignore that it was a high possibility that something dark and dangerous for all witches was going on around them, but at least for the moment they could pretend. Hunter looked up at Morgan suddenly, "I would like it if you came to stay with me in my apartment. It's small, and there is only one bedroom but I can take the couch. It's not a problem. I don't want to sound like an over protective git here, but I'd prefer it if you weren't out there on the streets." His expression was set in determination, and he wouldn't take no for an answer. At that point, the girl returned with the two cups of tea for him and Morgan and a glass of diet Coke for her as well, if she chose to go to the dark side of beverages.
He grinned at her question and arched an eyebrow. "It's good for you, Morgan. I don't just drink it because I want to have a plate of scones and a chat with the guv'nah." He could have a sense of humour.. Sometimes.
