It was getting kind of strange to just be standing on the street out in the open with Hunter. The same moment she figured that, she realized that she really did look a mess. Raising a hand, she ran a single finger down her cheek and brought it back to see that it was covered in soot. She wiped what she hoped was the rest of it off with the sleeve of her shirt before looking back at him. What a surprise, Hunter getting right down to business. That lightened mood was kind of gone now. "Sure," she replied simply. Trying to brush some of the ashes from her clothes, she followed after him, not saying a word. Still following, she walked behind him inside, past the counter and downstairs. Morgan took the briefest of moments to look around at the place before sitting down next to him. Not too close, mind you.
"How can that be possible? You couldn't have been in two places at once, could you?" In the world of magick, perhaps that wasn't too far-fetched. It was the only explanation she could think of for him being here and not remembering any of the things that happened in Widow's Vale that she was there for. And, most importantly, where she'd seen him. Way too weird.
As much as she knew it was probably making him uncomfortable, she couldn't help but keep looking at him in her shock and surprise. He couldn't use magick here. At least, not now. "Well, of course there's something wrong with the sun being gone. That's not nor--" The end of his question made her think. She knew what he meant, but didn't know whether she wanted to believe it. Because if it were true, it meant a whole lot of trouble. "It does...I suppose. But that doesn't mean it is, does it?"
