Had it been another day at another place and another time before Cal had tried to kill her, she likely would have hated and wanted to kill Hunter. But now that she knew that he was right about Cal...well it was more likely that she'd need him for a friend. Or at least a fellow person who practiced Wicca at the very least. To see him here was very strange, considering he'd been there not too long before helping save her from dying in Cal's burning pool house. Hence the look of deep confusion on her features at the moment. Something was very, very wrong here, but there wasn't exactly time to think about it with vampires still near.
Morgan looked away from the vampire she was burning to look at Hunter for only a moment, noting the impressed look on his face. According to Cal, she was powerful for a new witch and also had a very large potential. Larger than the witches she already knew, like Skye and Hunter, apparently. It seemed that the other vampires weren't going to mess with the girl who could reduce them to dust without even lifting a finger. She watched them run off down the street, but couldn't bring herself to smile or anything in her triumph. She'd come close to dying two times in one day. Not exactly normal for your average 17 year old girl.
She looked back to Hunter, but it wasn't a look of hatred. Had she not found out about Cal, it would have been a look of hate...but not now. Running a hand through her hair, she replied, "Not free will, I can tell you that." Her eyes turned skyward. "And this place is hardly sunny." Her gaze came back down to meet with his. If he was looking hard enough, he could see that fear and feeling of deceit in her eyes. The guy she loved had tried to kill her not too long ago, remember?
