It was really hard to think straight and concentrate with a vampire who was definitely bigger than her holding her up against a wall. She knew that she could do something to get herself out of this, but she just couldn't think clearly to make it happen. But that would have to change if she wanted to keep herself alive. Almost dying once was completely and totally enough for her. Morgan struggled against the vampire that was holding her now, but it wasn't really helping. He simply dug his fingers into her shoulders more and held her there. The third one came closer and brushed some of her hair away from her neck with cold pale fingers.
"This one seems to be a fighter. Too bad she's only going to end up losing..." he said, ending with a bit of a laugh. Where was the knight in shining armor when you really needed him? For a moment, she even wished that Cal would come to save her, but then the other events from that night crept back into her mind and she mentally kicked herself for thinking it. She might have still loved him, but he was evil. The vampire who was holding her started to lean in then, fangs bared, getting closer and closer to the skin of her neck. She felt his sharp teeth graze her skin for a moment before he abruptly let her go.
All three of the vampires turned away from her to look at someone else. Someone she knew. "Hunter?" Morgan said, thoroughly surprised. This was good then. Hunter knew how to use his powers a lot better than she did. But that didn't mean she couldn't help.
Trying her best to concentrate, Morgan tried to duplicate the actions she'd done before that had caused her to start fires with her natural aptitude for magic. It wasn't too long before it had worked. Flames had begun to burn on the clothes of one vampire and they were quickly spreading. Faster and faster they spread and burned until his entire body was up in flames. He flailed and screamed, trying to put out the fire. But it was no use. The fire eventually burned him to nothing but ashes and dust. Morgan stood there in the same spot, still slightly in awe of what she was capable of. Maybe now the other two would think twice before trying to eat her.
