Claire really, really did not want to hear these powers talking about the Colt not wiping a demon from reality completely, because the list of demons killed in L.A. with it was impressive and frightening – Azazel, Lilith, Alastair – and all the more so if not allowed to think those demons gone entirely. Still, the only thing – the only thing – that kept her from pleading that they just destroy Ruby or throw her into another dimension of theirs that she couldn't escape was the thought that they didn't need the PTB or the SP to take care of Ruby. Death wasn't the only option, even if it still felt like the best far beyond any other.
When addressed directly, she stiffened, holding Ben closer even with the female being's reassurances. "I don't think I will, if it's all the same to you," she said, as politely as she could muster. These beings could say they wouldn't hurt Ben, but how could any of them standing there really be certain that these individuals wouldn't change their minds on a whim.
