The Oracles seemed slightly offended at the takeover of the conversation as they strode up to Ruby, one at each side of her, ignoring the mortals, and the angel, who tensed at their proximity to Ruby.
"On this we are all agreed."
"Good and evil, are united."
"So mark the date in your calender kids," Marcus glanced at the mortals with a smirk. "We're actually agreeing on something. I can't remember the last time that happened."
There was a pause before the female Oracle spoke up. "1443."
"Oh yeah," Marcus half smiled.
"If you try again," the male Oracle moved to stand directly in front of Ruby, his gaze hard as he stared at her. "We will erase you."
"Completely."
"From all existence."
"You will cease to exist," the female's tone turned brisk. "No more mortal planes, no more hell. If you attempt to aid Lucifer again, you will end."
"And here's the thing," Marcus lost the sarcastic attitude as he too walked down the steps. "It takes a lot of power to do something like that, which is why we do all have to be agreed on that course of action. I speak not only for the Wolf, the Ram and the Hart on this, but for all of the Old Ones with ties to these worlds. So we will be sending you back to our LA. We need to keep you under our jurisdiction. So no doing your killing thing," he glanced over to the assorted Winchesters. "Your way send her back to hell and that means we can't do anything to her. Also she might like it there. Keep her in our world, under our laws and we then get the final say."
There was a pause before he smiled brightly. "So, questions? Comments? There's still the issue of what to do with this one," he jerked his thumb at Sam. "I still say we just end him now and be done with it."
The Slayer tensed, raising her head for the first time to glare angrily at him, dark eyes flashing, causing him to laugh. "Aww, she is a firecracker," he used the name deliberately. "Can we just have her back on our side, she was fun."
"No." The Oracles actually spoke in unison, before the male glared at Marcus. "On both points, no."
"The human, as flawed as he is," the female moved closer to the younger Winchester. "Gets one more chance." She looked up at him, her expression sad. "Don't waste it. No more blood, stop thinking about the blood and," she paused before glancing between him and the Slayer and back again before she lowered her voice. "You have one of our Chosen warriors in love with you. Don't waste that. And go be nicer to your family. And buy your nephew something. Open your eyes and focus on what you have, not on what you don't."
Her speech said, she nodded with satisfaction before stepping back to join her brother, who glanced at her with faint bemusement. "Sentimentalist."
The female shrugged, apologetically, before she looked at the angel, an eyebrow arched. "And you, relax before you strain something."
Her words did nothing to make Castiel relax even a fraction as he glanced at Ruby, waiting to see what her reaction was.
