Ben appeared, one hand outstretched as though formerly aiming something held in that hand, and promptly landed on the floor, as in this place there was no couch beneath his backside as there had been seconds ago in the family room. Blinking in a disoriented fashion, he looked up and up, then around the cavernous space, then to those gathered before narrowing in on the only forms in the room that he didn't know, a slight frown settling on his face. They were clearly not normal, but then not normal really didn't phase Ben overmuch these days.
"What's going on?" he asked as he scrambled to his feet. "I'm only getting an hour of TV – an hour! – so this bet-"
