Locked in place as her protector changed in ways unachievable by human kind Eve wondered what they were up against. Should she run? Should she stay? Should she cry out for help? Keeping within a very small distance of Xevin, Eve finally tore her eyes away from his arms, and focused on the demons before them.
The blonde demon seemed ready to attack, with a fire in his eyes, evil light that made his entire presence intimidating. More intimidating than any Golem she had been matched with. The other three didn’t seem any less menacing.
Despite this, she didn't flinch or try to get away, which even surprised her. It made the tiny beasts inside tremble like billions of hungry wolves at feeding time. A flare of anger flickered behind the blonde's eyes as she focused on a tree five feet to the left of the tallest demon.
"I'm that easy." She whispered to herself, as the formally nesting birds began to mutate, blobs of thorny flesh - once beautiful swallows - falling to the ground in quick succession. The startling hail of spiky shards did catch one demon off guard, but this only seemed to make the remaining three, including the fair haired freak of nature just that little bit more angry.
