Faith noticeably flinched at the news the hallucinations were on going. God, it hurt to know he was in pain, even if, irrationally, she wanted to go over there and bloody well cause him some.
Inconsistency, thy name is Faith.
"He deserves...." She started before trailing off. What? What did Sam actually deserve? To suffer? Feel physical pain, emotional pain? "You know he's probably just hallucinating about her anyway." The level of bitterness and barely repressed fury rose in her voice at the mention of 'her'. "Probably just having hallucination sex with her instead of more real fucks."
Ruby. She never asked how the demon was, or where. She thought if she actually knew she'd go around there and beat her to death. Or, into a bloody pulp before exorcising her. Or something. Anything.
"God, I'm such a fucking idiot," she wanted the vodka back. "What the hell was I even thinking? As far as I'm concerned they deserve each other. Lying, cheating bastards."
Who she wanted back. Fuck, she wanted him back, stupid and pathetic as that was.
