A quick look was given to the front door of The Hyperion. Big, tall, looming, full of people. She spun her head back to him. So maybe she was a little not 'into' the prospect of a meet-n-greet. Busted. She gave a thin smile, sucking in her lower lip momentarily. "Maybe we save that for another time? The tour's pretty boring unless I take you down to the cages in the basement, and there's some fire princess down there anyway." She waved her hand in the air.
"Mini Golf is something I've always been good at. We did it for my third grade birthday and I kicked everyone's ass. Even Kimberly Pomer's. And come on, you think that my Slayer skills don't kick in a lil' something extra? You're insane to think I can be beat. I mean, you just are. Mentally unstable, for sure. Luckily, that doesn't so much bother me. I'm just anticipating that look of sheer awe on your face when you realize how heavily owned you are. It's gonna be kinda priceless. And by kinda, I mean totally."
There was spirit in her step as she made her way to the car, unlocked it, got in, and let Eliot do the same. "Buckle up for safety, and because I'm a sucky driver," she said as way of a casual warning. Buffy seemed unconcerned as she started the car up.
Buffy wasn't as horrible a driver as she'd said - although, she wasn't the most experienced once. But they didn't drive into any other cars, which was a bonus. She'd turned on the radio to some random station, but kept it low, and opened all of the windows using the power buttons on her car door. "Zoom, zoom, indeed."
They drive in comfortable silence for a while. When they were just a little bit away from the confines of the inner-city, Buffy began to chat. "So, any big uh, heists going down? Or are you still pretending to be a bounce at the Lux?" She gave him a glance. Who did he think he was fooling with that? Unless, maybe he was hard up for cash?
