Sam barely understood what was going on. He knew she wanted him here, for something or another, and that it was important. Why? He couldn't tell anyone. He didn't know. Where he would have questioned and interrogated severely about before, Sam merely shrugged off and agreed to do whatever. He knew that there would be blood and that, as far as he was concerned, was the only important part in this entire situation. More blood. More to drink. More for him and him alone. It was his, after all. He'd take what he wanted.
"I didn't know we were in a rush," Sam's voice sounded from just outside the door. "Where are we going anyway? This isn't like the usual patrol." He stepped through the doorway, turned a little and...stopped.
Rub was trapped! And...why, exactly, was everyone else here? Why had they trapped Ruby? What the fuck?
"What's going on?" Sam hesitated. "Why are you..." He looked out, trying to read their expressions. They all certainly didn't look too happy. "Let her go," he decided, knowing at least one thing for certain: he didn't like Ruby being trapped like that. He was already offended on her behalf. How was he supposed to get her out of her to cut her open if everyone was in here, keeping her away?
