Sam was aware of how bad of an idea it was to encourage an evening together between Faith and Ruby. Hell, encouraging an evening between himself and Castiel wasn't the best idea in the world either. Faith and Ruby had their issues. Sam and Castiel...well, Sam wasn't exactly his biggest fan in the world at the moment. Yet, despite it all, he wanted to get back into a normal routine after everything that had happened. Make peace. Clear the air. They all needed to find a way to ease back and relax, especially after all of the horrible stuff that had happened. That was why Sam had encouraged this. He wanted them all to be okay. To be happy that they were all here and alive and together. Sam only hoped, and found that a large part of himself did, that they could all push past their differences and get along.
Clutching a large bag full of junk to his chest, Sam glanced over at Faith and gave her a hopeful look. "This'll be fun," he insisted, "I promise."
She needed to do something normal anyway. After everything that had happened to her, the last thing that Sam wanted to do was see her go out and get herself hurt because she was so desperate to try and get back into her normal routine.
Reaching for the door to Ruby's apartment with his free hand, Sam rapped at it lightly. Another glance was directed toward Faith, followed by a forced smile. They could do this without killing each other. Right?
