Kara snickered, shaking her head. "I don't think you'll ever give up flannel." it seemed to be his favorite thing, she didn't see why being a superhero would change that. It was good to know that General Zod and Braniac were long gone, or at least trapped somewhere. The future didn't need them, all they did was cause destruction. As for Lex...that was depressing. "Great." she said with a sigh. "Guess we're just going to have to wait for him to get old." he'd have to go into some kind of evil retirement eventually, wouldn't he? Unless he just died first, which wouldn't surprise her. It also wouldn't surprise her if he found a way to cheat death. She looked at Clark when Diana said Lana wasn't around, a sad look coming over her face. Kara liked Lana, she seemed like a good person for Clark, and she accepted him as he was. She'd like to say 'I'm sorry' but it didn't really seem to fit.
"It's a Law Firm." she answered. "Or that's what they cover as. I've been inside those walls. They're evil, to the bone. The things that they do in there are just wrong." like bringing back a little girl who had been dead for hundreds of years. Or causing this, eclipse, where so many had probably died already. Heroes couldn't be everywhere at once. Kara shook her head, feeling guilty. "I can take him. I should have taken him when I first heard he lost his powers. Aunt Lara would skin me if she knew I was letting you walk around with no powers." she said glancing at Clark. "I've just been distracted with work lately. I'm sorry Clark, I should have helped you earlier."
She was going back out again tomorrow morning, she would take them then. Or earlier, if he wanted to go now, or after this chat. Turning to Diana, she had almost forgotten. "You said you'd tell us what you can do." she said perking up in her seat. "If you trained me, it has to be something resistant." she really wanted to know what this woman could do, and why it was that other versions of the cousins were so close with her.
