Kara was proving to be a fountain of information, and it helped Diana form a clearer picture of what she could expect. No Wonder Girl, then, but she wasn't completely surprised....Neither Donna nor Cassie donned the uniform until after Diana had found them, so if she didn't exist here, then likely, neither did they. And Clark was young here, too? Gods, she was likeliest the oldest superhero around, even with Kara's adjusted age.
"It's very wise of you to protect them," Diana answered, with approval in her tone. She wasn't as secretive as Bruce, but she recognized the need for safety in identity for the others. "You never know when or where an enemy will seek to strike at."
She hadn't meant to sound like she was lecturing, although it was hard since she still regarded Kara as her student, so to change it, she added, "You've told me a lot, so I can try and fill in what I know. The JLA in my world has usually at least twelve members, and both Green Arrow and Aquaman are members, along with Batman. I do wonder if they are the same people here." Thinking as moment as they ascended the stairs, she went on, "After all, the name could be the same but a different bearer altogether. But if you and Clark are here....and as you said, Luthor and others, I suspect they are the same. Cyborg was a member of a different team there. As for the Watchtower, to us it is a place, not a girl." Only J'onn was powerful enough to manage a link between them all and the Watchtower...was there a female Martian here that fulfilled that role? "There is a male superhero that helps maintain ours."
There was always her own role, too. "For myself, well...I can show you once we are up to the rooms," Diana conceeded.
