Kara was use to the weird and unnatural happening now. Even more weird than Smallville. She had met someone that knew her before, and now here was another one. It didn't surprise her so much, but more made her very interested to know what this other version of herself was like. Was she going to end up in a cape and tights and call herself Supergirl like she had been told? It was an interesting idea. After closing out of the boards that most people use to communicate on her computer, she shut off the monitor and then headed out of her room. She picked up Thai take out on her last trip out of the city, and the rest of the food was still down stairs. She was hungry, and even though she had just re charged a few hours ago, her powers were never the same without constant sunlight for about half the day.
She walked at a normal speed, there was no point in draining herself faster. Reaching the staircase she started to walk down it, humming to herself as she went. If someone didn't do something about this no sun light thing soon, she was about to vote for just smashing things that looked evil. Clark's opinion seemed right to her: blame the lawyers.
When she reached the bottom of the staircase, there was someone else entering the hotel. She knew all the faces of those who lived here, even if she didn't know them personally. This was someone new. Smiling, she stepped off the stairs and took a few steps toward the woman. Random strangers showing up was something that seemed to be pretty common around here.
"Hey." she said cheerfully, "Welcome to the Hyperion, is there anything I can help you with?" the usual spiel about asking someone if they need help. Kara had yet to say 'we help the helpless' or anything like that, and she was going to keep it that way. The woman didn't appear to need help, but you could never know. Maybe she was just looking for someone. That happened a lot as well.
