To Faith, Buffy delivered her next line, "I kind of hate these Senior Partners. And I really don't even know them." But yea, the hate was there. Strong and powerful and if she wasn't feeling in such a realm of suck, she'd try to track down these mythical beings. After all, if they'd defeated The First and he couldn't be touched - what made these guys any different? Probably just stupid old ghosts of lawyers. How scary. Not.
"You killed Faith, you don't get any blood," Buffy tried, a casual joke to Spike. She understood it wasn't the real Faith he'd killed. But teasing him wasn't something she was willing to just give up all lickity split. Still, helping to save her life was kind of hard to ignore. Especially when he was all bloody.
Given how those vampires had gone at her, so eager to have a Slayer to feast on, Buffy tried to tell herself that Spike was kind of a peach for never really trying to bite into her. Sure, he'd have the pain with the chip, but blood was like an addiction. And Slayer blood seemed to be the premium stuff. Even now, he was still a vampire and she was standing there with blood. It had to be tempting. She remembered when she used to be cautious around Angel - not for fear that he'd be tempted. But because she didn't want him to think she was taunting him with her blood, or something. Not that she could help it when she got scratched up, of course.
"Um...undying love for Harmony?" A quizzical brow raise. She looked to Faith. "I thought Spike was the only one with undying love for Harmony?" Again, she was teasing. But - "Prada?" She seemed genuinely interested in that word. There was nothing bad about Prada. Except for the fact that she couldn't afford it. "Did we buy me Prada? Cause that would make up for a lot of sucky things."
She was walking now (with a minor limp) in the direction of the hotel. That's where the goodness was. Beds and blood and bountiful food supplies.
"I guess the other me was kind of...seriously though, Harmony? Come on. I mean... Great. Can someone send her the memo that I no longer want to braid friendship bracelets with her? She has such a pouty face. Like a sad dog that got kicked. You hate to kick it again..." A thought. "I hate to kick it again. Spike, you love kicking it. Can you tell her? I'd owe you." Of course, she already owed him. But, whatever.
Buffy wanted to ask Faith what had happened to her. From what she could figure out, Buffy had been swapped - which meant Faith had been swapped. Which meant she had been in a world where Faith had been a vampire. But would Faith tell her who'd inflicted her wounds? Would Buffy want to know the truth?
