Spike was playing along beautifully and inwardly Faith thought the boy deserved some kind of Oscar for the performance he was putting on. Terrified boyfriend, who knew the vampire had it in him? Still, she figured she'd have to double the whiskey she owed him after this.
She hooked her boot around the knife, kicking it into the air before she neatly caught it, still gripping tightly onto Spike with one hand.
"Whatever you say, Daddy."
She brought the blade up quickly, slicing at Spike's neck. She didn't go too deep, and she knew Spike would heal quickly from it. Still, if he'd been human he'd be about to die a slow death from blood loss right about now. She dropped him to fall to the ground, throwing the knife down so the blade tip embedded itself in the ground before she stepped forward several paces, allowing the vampire gang to get between her and Spike and, she hoped, keep the attention on her and not the not-dead-really Spike.
She held her hands out, wrists together and she locked gazes with the main one.
"Well here you go, he's dead and I'm all yours for the taking. Now let her go."
